FAISALABAD: Federal Minister for Communications Aalim Khan announced the completion timeline for the long-delayed Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway project during an event at the Chamber of Commerce. He stated that the project, which has faced numerous setbacks over the decades, is now set to commence.

Khan emphasized the importance of this motorway for enhancing connectivity and boosting economic activities in the region. He noted that the project is expected to significantly reduce travel time between Sukkur and Hyderabad, facilitating trade and commerce. “This motorway will not only ease transportation but also create job opportunities and stimulate local economies,” he added.

The Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway is a crucial infrastructure initiative that aims to improve road connectivity in southern Pakistan. Its completion is anticipated to have a positive impact on the overall economy, making it easier for businesses to operate and for citizens to travel. The project aligns with the government’s broader strategy to enhance national infrastructure and promote economic growth.

Looking ahead, the Ministry of Communications plans to hold further meetings to finalize the project timeline and address any remaining concerns. Stakeholders are optimistic about the project’s potential to transform regional transportation and economic landscapes.
