LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday officially unveiled the complete squads and detailed match schedule for the 69th edition of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan’s premier first-class domestic tournament. According to the official announcement by the national cricket governing body, the prestigious red-ball championship is set to commence on Tuesday, November 3, bringing together the nation’s finest cricketing talent across multiple historic venues.

The PCB confirmed that the upcoming season of the flagship tournament has been strategically structured into two categories—Gold and Silver—to foster higher competitive standards and streamline the domestic talent pipeline. High-performance coaches and regional selection panels finalized the team rosters, integrating seasoned international players alongside promising young prospects who performed exceptionally in recent sub-regional competitions.

Historically recognized as the bedrock of Pakistan’s cricket ecosystem, the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy plays a pivotal role in evaluating long-form endurance, technical proficiency, and tactical acumen. Senior board officials emphasized that performances in this marquee tournament will serve as the primary benchmark for national team selection ahead of Pakistan’s upcoming international Test assignments and home bilateral series.

The initial round of matches will kick off simultaneously across key regional venues in major cities, with pitch preparations and match arrangements fully completed. Broadcasters and match officials have finalized all operational protocols, with the PCB ensuring comprehensive digital coverage and live updates throughout the tournament to engage fans nationwide.
