IESCO Power Outages

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a power outage schedule for November 3, affecting various regions including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal. The outages are set to occur from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM due to necessary maintenance and development work.

IESCO officials stated that the maintenance activities will include the annual upkeep of 11kV feeders, construction projects, and transformer maintenance at grid stations. Areas in Islamabad such as D-12, E-11, F-7, F-8, G-6, G-7, G-8, G-9, G-10, G-13, I-8, and I-10 will be particularly impacted, alongside Bara Kahu, Murree, and Patriata. In Rawalpindi, several neighborhoods will also experience electricity suspension.

This scheduled outage is part of IESCO’s ongoing efforts to enhance the reliability of electricity supply in the region. While necessary for infrastructure improvements, these outages may cause inconvenience for residents and businesses alike, particularly during peak hours.

IESCO encourages residents to prepare for the outages by ensuring they have adequate supplies and to stay informed about future maintenance schedules. Further updates will be provided as the date approaches, and customers can check IESCO’s official channels for real-time information.
