New Gas Supply Schedule for Winter Released for Domestic Consumers

KARACHI: The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced a new gas supply schedule for domestic consumers as winter approaches, outlining specific hours for gas availability. Under the new plan, households will receive gas during three designated time slots each day, aimed at managing the expected increase in demand during the colder months.

The announcement follows directives from the Government of Pakistan, which has been under pressure to ensure adequate energy supplies amid rising consumption. An SSGC spokesperson stated, “This schedule is designed to optimize gas distribution and minimize inconvenience for our customers during winter. We urge consumers to use gas judiciously during the allocated hours to avoid shortages.”

This new schedule comes at a critical time as many households rely heavily on gas for heating and cooking during the winter season. The government’s proactive measures are intended to alleviate potential gas shortages that could disrupt daily life and economic activities.
