Dar Urges Dialogue to Mitigate Middle East Tensions in Meeting with UK Envoy

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the necessity of dialogue and diplomacy to alleviate tensions in the Middle East during a meeting with British High Commissioner Jane Marriott on Saturday. The discussion took place in Islamabad, where both officials acknowledged the positive momentum in Pakistan-UK relations.

In a statement released on X, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted Dar’s assertion that “dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable way forward” in addressing the ongoing conflicts in the region.
