SNGPL Implements Emergency Gas Shutdown in Lahore for Pipeline Repairs

LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced an emergency gas shutdown affecting several areas of Lahore due to urgent repair work on a leaking pipeline along Barki Road. The gas supply will be suspended from 9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, until 6 a.m. on Thursday, October 1.

The affected areas include Main Barki Road and surrounding neighborhoods, where residents are advised to prepare for the interruption. SNGPL has emphasized the necessity of these repairs to ensure the safety and reliability of the gas supply in the region.
