KP Residents Support Governor’s Rule Amidst Longstanding Development Issues

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tarik Fazal Choudhry has stated that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) are pleased with the imposition of Governor’s Rule, attributing their satisfaction to 13 years of stagnation in provincial development.

Choudhry emphasized that the lack of progress in the province has led citizens to welcome the emergency measures and the governance shift. He remarked, “The people have expressed their support for the Governor’s Rule as they seek effective governance and development after years of neglect.” This statement reflects a significant shift in public sentiment towards the provincial administration.

The imposition of Governor’s Rule is seen as a critical step to address the longstanding issues faced by KP, including economic stagnation and inadequate infrastructure. Analysts suggest that this move could pave the way for more direct federal intervention in the province’s governance, potentially leading to improved public services and development initiatives.

Looking ahead, the federal government is expected to outline a comprehensive plan to stabilize governance in KP and address the pressing needs of its residents. Further announcements regarding the implementation of development projects and the timeline for restoring regular governance are anticipated in the coming weeks.
