Roshan Digital Accounts Attract $14.16 Billion in Inflows by September 2026

ISLAMABAD: Gross inflows into Pakistan’s Roshan Digital Accounts (RDAs) have reached a record $14.16 billion by the end of September 2026, marking an increase of $251 million during the month, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The total number of RDAs has surged to 975,602 since the initiative was launched in November 2020.

The SBP’s report highlights the growing popularity of RDAs among overseas Pakistanis, who are increasingly utilizing these accounts to invest in the country’s economy. The initiative aims to facilitate foreign remittances and encourage investment in various sectors, contributing to the overall economic stability of Pakistan.

This significant inflow of funds underscores the confidence of the diaspora in Pakistan’s financial system and its potential for growth. The RDAs not only provide a secure platform for investment but also play a crucial role in bolstering the country’s foreign exchange reserves, which are vital for economic health.

Looking ahead, the SBP plans to enhance the features of RDAs to attract even more investments. Upcoming initiatives may include partnerships with financial institutions to offer more diverse investment options and improved digital services for account holders.
