Islamabad Police Transfers 10 Armored Vehicles to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police

ISLAMABAD: In a significant move to bolster security measures, the Islamabad Police has transferred ten newly acquired armored personnel carriers to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police. This decision, announced by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, comes as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance counter-terrorism operations in the region.

During a press briefing, Naqvi stated that the transfer was executed under the directives of the Prime Minister, emphasizing the importance of equipping law enforcement agencies with advanced resources to effectively combat rising security threats. The armored vehicles are expected to play a crucial role in safeguarding citizens and maintaining order in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which has faced increased incidents of violence and terrorism.

This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to improving public safety and addressing the security challenges faced by the province. With the current security landscape in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa being precarious, the provision of these vehicles is anticipated to enhance the operational capabilities of the police force, thereby instilling greater confidence among the local populace.
