WUHAN: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has confirmed that a Chinese company, HBSZ, is ready to undertake the project of laying the K4 water pipeline in Karachi. This announcement came during his visit to the Hanyang District of Wuhan, where he discussed various infrastructure projects aimed at improving water supply in the region.

He also addressed plans for upgrading the gates of the Sukkur Barrage, a critical infrastructure that regulates water flow in the province.
This collaboration with HBSZ is seen as a vital step towards addressing Karachi’s water crisis, which affects millions of residents. The K4 project is anticipated to not only improve access to clean water but also bolster the local economy by creating jobs and enhancing living standards.
