Pakistani Ambassador Urges Nationals in Japan to Uphold Nation’s Honor
TOKYO: Pakistani Ambassador to Japan, Abdul Hamid Bhutta, has called upon the Pakistani community residing in Japan to uphold the country’s honor through their ethical conduct and character. Speaking at a community event on Saturday, Bhutta emphasized the importance of representing Pakistan positively abroad.
During his address, Bhutta highlighted the significant contributions of Pakistanis in Japan, urging them to maintain high moral standards and act as ambassadors of their culture. He stated, “Your behavior reflects not only on you but also on our beloved homeland. It is essential to embody the values of integrity and respect that define us as a nation.”
This appeal comes at a time when the Pakistani diaspora is increasingly recognized for its contributions to various sectors in Japan, including technology and business. The ambassador’s remarks aim to inspire pride and responsibility among expatriates, reinforcing the notion that individual actions can have a profound impact on the perception of Pakistan globally.
Looking ahead, the embassy plans to organize more community engagement initiatives to foster cultural exchange and strengthen ties between Pakistan and Japan. Bhutta expressed hope that these efforts would encourage younger generations to take pride in their heritage while integrating into Japanese society.
