Police Launch Manhunt After Alleged Rape Incident in Rajanpur

RAJANPUR: Authorities have initiated a manhunt following an alleged rape incident involving a woman in Rajanpur, Punjab. The incident reportedly occurred on the night of October 15, 2023, prompting local police to file a case against unidentified suspects.

According to police sources, the victim reported the incident to the authorities early the next morning. The police have since registered a First Information Report (FIR) and are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the alleged perpetrators. Local officials have condemned the act and emphasized their commitment to ensuring justice for the victim.

This incident has raised significant concerns regarding women’s safety in the region, highlighting ongoing issues related to gender-based violence in Pakistan.
