LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially signed an agreement with a private bank to initiate the ‘Schools Talent Hunt Program’, aimed at promoting cricket at the school level. This significant partnership was formalized at Qaddafi Stadium on October 28, 2026.

The program is designed to identify and nurture young cricketing talent across the country, providing aspiring cricketers with the necessary resources and opportunities to excel in the sport. PCB officials expressed their commitment to enhancing grassroots cricket and fostering a new generation of players who can contribute to the national team.

This initiative is expected to have a profound impact on the sports landscape in Pakistan, encouraging youth participation in cricket and potentially leading to the discovery of future stars. By investing in school-level cricket, the PCB aims to strengthen the foundation of the sport, ensuring its growth and sustainability in the coming years.
