Islamabad Traffic Police Launches Home Delivery of Driving Licenses

Driving Licenses Home Delivery

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Traffic Police has initiated a new service allowing residents to receive their driving licenses at home, a significant step towards modernizing public services. This initiative, launched under the directives of Inspector General (IG) Islamabad, Captain (R) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, aims to enhance convenience for citizens.

According to a spokesperson for the Islamabad Police, the driving licenses will be delivered through TCS, a leading courier service in Pakistan. This move is part of a broader effort to integrate advanced facilities into the daily lives of citizens, making essential services more accessible.

The introduction of home delivery for driving licenses is expected to ease the burden on citizens who previously had to navigate through lengthy queues at licensing offices. This service not only reflects the government’s commitment to improving public service delivery but also aligns with global trends in digital governance.

Looking ahead, the Islamabad Traffic Police plans to expand this service further, potentially incorporating additional features such as online applications and renewals. This initiative is part of a larger strategy to modernize traffic management and enhance road safety across the capital.
