Governor Kundi Criticizes Federal Government for Neglecting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa support

PESHAWAR: Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has criticized the federal government for its failure to provide Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) with the support it rightfully deserves. Speaking at the annual conference of the Pakistan Association of Urological Surgeons on Sunday, Kundi emphasized the urgent need to end the longstanding neglect of the province.

During his address, Kundi called for practical measures to enhance the health sector in KP, drawing comparisons with the advancements seen in Punjab and Sindh. He highlighted the importance of medical conferences as platforms for knowledge sharing, research, and awareness of modern treatment methods, which are crucial for the province’s healthcare development.

The governor underscored the necessity of ensuring quality healthcare services in merged districts, southern regions, and remote areas of KP. He asserted that access to modern treatment facilities should not be confined to major cities, advocating for equal healthcare access for all citizens.

Kundi also pointed out that collective efforts are essential to restore the province’s positive image and improve its health infrastructure. He called for the provision of modern medical equipment, enhanced training for doctors, and the promotion of medical practices that align with contemporary standards.
