KARACHI: The Sindh government has officially launched the Khidmat-e-Sindh App, a new digital platform designed to streamline the process for citizens to register complaints and seek resolutions for public service issues without the need to visit government offices. This initiative was unveiled by Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi, who emphasized the app’s role in enhancing governmental transparency and accessibility.

The Khidmat-e-Sindh App connects 65 federal and provincial government departments, allowing users to submit complaints related to various public services. Governor Hashmi stated, “This app is a significant step towards digital governance, enabling citizens to engage with their government more effectively and efficiently.” The app aims to reduce bureaucratic hurdles and improve response times for citizen grievances.

This development is expected to empower citizens by providing them with a direct channel to voice their concerns, potentially leading to improved public service delivery in Sindh. The initiative aligns with global trends towards digitalization in governance, which can enhance accountability and foster a more engaged citizenry.

Looking ahead, the Sindh government plans to expand the app’s features and increase awareness among citizens to ensure widespread adoption. Future updates may include additional functionalities to further facilitate communication between the public and government officials.
