PTI Believes in Resolving Political Disputes Politically: Barrister Gohar
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has reaffirmed that his party firmly believes in resolving all national and political differences through democratic dialogue and political channels rather than confrontation.
Speaking to media persons in the federal capital, the PTI chief stated that political stability in Pakistan can only be restored when democratic norms and constitutional boundaries are respected by all stakeholders. He emphasized that prolonged political friction hurts the country’s socio-economic fabric, reiterating that political problems require political solutions within the ambit of the Constitution of Pakistan.
The statement comes amidst ongoing political polarization and strained relations between the ruling coalition and opposition forces. Political observers view Barrister Gohar’s remarks as an effort to keep the door open for meaningful political engagement, provided the government takes concrete steps to address key opposition grievances regarding constitutional rights and political space.
Moving forward, the PTI leadership reiterated its commitment to pursuing legal and constitutional avenues for its demands, including the release of political detainees and party founder Imran Khan. The party called on all political entities to prioritize national interest and legal supremacy to navigate the ongoing political challenges facing the nation.
