NADRA Launches 43 Citizen Facilitation Centres Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

PESHAWAR: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has inaugurated 43 Citizen Facilitation Centres across 11 districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) as part of a $46 million project funded by the World Bank. This initiative aims to enhance public service delivery and streamline access to essential services for citizens.

According to an official document from Wealth Pakistan, the K-P Citizen-Centred Service Delivery Project is designed to improve the efficiency and accessibility of government services. NADRA officials stated that these centres will provide a range of services, including identity registration and documentation, thereby reducing the burden on citizens who previously had to travel long distances for such services.

This expansion of NADRA’s facilities is expected to significantly impact the lives of residents in K-P, particularly in remote areas where access to government services has been limited. By establishing these centres, the government aims to foster greater trust in public institutions and improve overall governance in the region.

Looking ahead, NADRA plans to monitor the effectiveness of these centres and gather feedback from users to ensure continuous improvement. Further expansions and enhancements to service offerings may be considered based on the success of this initiative.
