KARACHI: The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi, the Aga Khan University (AKU), and Habib University have announced a strategic partnership aimed at advancing AI-driven teaching and learning methodologies. This collaboration, unveiled on October 10, 2023, seeks to integrate artificial intelligence into educational frameworks to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to modernize education in Pakistan, with officials from the three institutions emphasizing the importance of AI in preparing students for future job markets. “This partnership will not only foster innovation in teaching but also equip our students with essential skills needed in a rapidly evolving digital landscape,” said Dr. S. A. A. Rizvi, Vice Chancellor of AKU.

The implications of this collaboration are significant, as it positions Pakistan at the forefront of educational innovation in South Asia. By leveraging AI technologies, these institutions aim to create a more interactive and personalized learning experience, which could serve as a model for other universities in the region. This move is expected to attract more students and enhance the global competitiveness of Pakistani graduates.

Additionally, they will explore further partnerships with tech companies to develop tailored AI tools for classroom use, ensuring that the curriculum remains relevant and impactful.
