Gas Supply Suspended in Multan from 6 AM to 9:30 PM for Maintenance

MULTAN: Gas supply in various areas of Multan will be temporarily suspended from 6 AM to 9:30 PM due to maintenance activities on the pipeline. The announcement was made by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), which cited the Canal Crossing and Mailsi Multan as the specific locations affected.

The maintenance work is essential to ensure the safety and reliability of the gas supply infrastructure. SNGPL has urged residents to prepare accordingly and has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused during this period.

This suspension of gas supply may impact daily activities for residents and businesses in the affected areas, particularly those reliant on gas for cooking and heating. The temporary halt underscores the ongoing challenges within Pakistan’s energy sector, where maintenance and infrastructure upgrades are crucial for long-term sustainability.
