Hakimi’s Hat-Trick Powers PSG to Dominant 5-1 Victory Over Le Havre

PARIS: Achraf Hakimi showcased his brilliance with a stunning hat-trick on Friday, leading Paris Saint-Germain to a commanding 5-1 victory against bottom-placed Le Havre in Ligue 1.

PSG, despite fielding a heavily rotated squad, maintained their position at the top of the league table with 20 points after nine matches. Their closest rivals, Rennes, suffered a setback, losing 5-2 to Nice, while Olivier Giroud’s late goal secured a 1-0 win for Lille over RC Lens, lifting them to second place with 18 points.

Hakimi’s performance was pivotal as he not only scored three goals but also assisted in leveling the match after Le Havre’s Josh Maja opened the scoring against the run of play. The Belgian winger Mika Godts equalized shortly after, but Hakimi’s quick response and relentless pace turned the tide in PSG’s favor, demonstrating the team’s attacking prowess.

Looking ahead, PSG will aim to build on this momentum as they prepare for their next fixture, while Le Havre will need to regroup and find a way to improve their standing, currently sitting with just two points.
