HEC Processes Over 139,000 Academic Document Attestations Digitally
ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has successfully processed 73,146 degree attestation applications, covering a total of 139,021 academic documents, through its innovative paperless online system since its launch on May 11, 2026.
This digital initiative allows graduates to obtain attested degrees without the need to visit HEC offices or submit original documents. Applicants can now complete the entire process online and download their electronic certificates directly, significantly streamlining the attestation process.
The introduction of this digital system marks a significant advancement in the HEC’s efforts to enhance efficiency and accessibility in higher education services. It not only saves time for graduates but also reduces the administrative burden on HEC staff, fostering a more user-friendly environment for educational services in Pakistan.
Looking ahead, the HEC plans to expand its digital services further, aiming to incorporate additional features that will facilitate even more seamless interactions for students and graduates. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to modernize educational processes in Pakistan.
