HMD Unveils Classic Flip Phone Featuring Built-In AI Companion in UK

LONDON: HMD Global has officially launched the 2660 Flip Senior Edition in the UK, marking a significant return to the classic flip phone design while integrating modern technology with a built-in AI companion. This innovative device aims to cater to users seeking simplicity combined with smart features.

The 2660 Flip Senior Edition is designed with a traditional keypad, appealing to those who prefer tactile feedback over touchscreen interfaces. HMD’s spokesperson stated, “We are excited to bring back the nostalgia of flip phones while enhancing user experience with AI capabilities that assist in daily tasks and connectivity. This phone is perfect for seniors and anyone looking for a straightforward mobile experience.”

This launch reflects a growing trend in the mobile market, where consumers are increasingly seeking devices that blend simplicity with functionality. The integration of AI in a classic phone format could potentially reshape how users interact with technology, making it more accessible for older generations who may find modern smartphones overwhelming.

Looking ahead, HMD plans to expand its product line with additional features and models that cater to various demographics. The company is also expected to host promotional events to showcase the 2660 Flip’s capabilities and engage with potential customers directly.
