Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has made a decisive announcement against land mafia and illegal encroachments in the province. Speaking to the media on October 29, 2026, Kundi emphasized that those occupying land illegally will be removed without exception.

In his address, Kundi stated, “Those who have encroached upon public land must vacate it immediately.” He referred to previous comments made by the Information Advisor regarding the Mufti Mahmood Center, reiterating the government’s commitment to reclaiming public spaces and ensuring lawful use of land.

This strong stance from the governor signals a significant shift in the provincial government’s approach to urban development and land management. It aims to restore public trust and ensure that land is used for its intended purposes, potentially impacting local economies and community planning.

Looking ahead, the provincial government plans to implement stricter regulations and conduct inspections to identify and dismantle illegal structures. Further announcements are expected in the coming weeks regarding collaborative efforts with local authorities to enforce these measures effectively.
