Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Issues Additional Grant for Employee Salaries and Pensions

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced an additional grant aimed exclusively at covering employee salaries and pensions for the Tehsil Municipal Administrations (TMAs) across the province. This decision comes as part of the financial week celebrations organized by the Local Council Board.

According to official sources, the grant is intended to ensure that municipal employees receive their due payments without delay. The Local Council Board emphasized that the funds should be strictly allocated for salaries and pensions, reflecting a commitment to support local governance and public service.

This move is expected to have significant implications for the financial stability of municipal administrations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which have faced budgetary constraints in recent years. By prioritizing employee compensation, the government aims to bolster morale among public servants and enhance the efficiency of local governance.
