This initiative was presented by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) during a briefing to the Interior Minister, highlighting the need for a robust framework to manage potential crises effectively.
During the briefing, the IGP emphasized the importance of preparedness in the face of natural disasters and security threats. He outlined the strategic measures that will be implemented, including enhanced coordination among law enforcement agencies and local government bodies to ensure swift action during emergencies.
This proactive approach aims to bolster public safety and instill confidence among citizens, particularly in light of recent incidents that have raised concerns about security and disaster management in the province. The government’s commitment to safeguarding its residents is evident as it seeks to mitigate risks and enhance resilience.
Looking ahead, the provincial government plans to conduct further meetings to refine the strategy and engage with community leaders and stakeholders.
