KP Government Launches Digital Land Record Portal to Streamline Services
PESHAWAR: In a significant advancement towards modernizing land record management, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, inaugurated the E-Fard Portal and a Digital Public Feedback System on October 6, 2026. This initiative aims to simplify the process for citizens to obtain land records without the need for repeated visits to revenue offices.
The E-Fard Portal allows residents to access their land records from the comfort of their homes or nearby centers, significantly reducing bureaucratic hurdles. Chief Minister Afridi emphasized that this digital transformation is a step towards transparency and efficiency in government services, stating, “This portal will empower citizens and enhance their access to essential land information.”
This development is expected to have far-reaching implications for the citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as it not only streamlines the process of obtaining land records but also aims to reduce corruption and inefficiencies associated with traditional methods. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to digitize government services across the province, fostering a more accountable and responsive administration.
Looking ahead, the provincial government plans to conduct training sessions for staff at revenue offices to ensure a smooth transition to the new digital system. Additionally, further enhancements to the portal are anticipated, including the integration of more services related to land management.
