Pakistani AI Startup Unveils 3D Digital Twin Map of Twin Cities

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani generative artificial intelligence startup Musavir.AI has unveiled the country’s first comprehensive 3D digital twin map of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, marking a major technological milestone for domestic urban tech. The innovative model renders photorealistic, spatially accurate representations of the twin cities, transforming how geographic and infrastructural data can be visualized across the metropolitan area.

Resembling a high-fidelity video game environment, the platform utilizes advanced geospatial rendering and generative AI frameworks to replicate topography, architectural structures, and civil infrastructure with intricate detail. According to the development team, the initiative acts as an interactive digital twin capable of running complex spatial simulations, monitoring urban growth, and analyzing structural footprints in real time.

Urban planners and technologists believe the deployment of digital twin technology offers substantial utility beyond visual aesthetics. The platform provides public authorities and private developers with critical operational insights, streamlining transport logistics, disaster management frameworks, utility network planning, and climate-resilience strategies across the expanding capital region.

Musavir.AI plans to expand its geographic coverage to other major urban centers, including Lahore and Karachi, while integrating real-time telemetry and Internet of Things (IoT) sensors into the base map. Industry stakeholders are anticipated to engage municipal administrations in the coming months to integrate the software into smart city governance initiatives.
