PM Shehbaz Sharif Champions Development of Daanish IT Park as Tech Hub

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called for the transformation of Daanish IT Park in Islamabad into a world-class technology hub, emphasizing the need for a modern IT ecosystem to foster innovation and economic growth.

During a recent meeting with relevant authorities, PM Sharif outlined his vision for the IT Park, which aims to attract both local and international tech companies. He stressed that developing this facility is crucial for enhancing Pakistan’s digital landscape and creating job opportunities for the youth. “We must ensure that our IT infrastructure meets global standards to compete effectively in the international market,” he stated.

This initiative is expected to have significant implications for Pakistan’s economy, potentially positioning the country as a competitive player in the global tech industry. By investing in technology and innovation, the government aims to stimulate economic growth and reduce unemployment, particularly among the younger population.
