PM Shehbaz Sharif Inaugurates New Daanish School Campus in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has officially inaugurated a state-of-the-art Daanish School campus in the federal capital, marking a key milestone in the government’s nationwide initiative to extend quality public education to marginalized and underprivileged children.

Speaking at the high-profile inauguration ceremony attended by federal ministers, senior diplomats, and prominent educationists, Prime Minister Shehbaz emphasized that access to modern educational infrastructure is a fundamental right of every Pakistani child regardless of socio-economic status. He reiterated that the Daanish School framework—which offers completely free boarding, modern science laboratories, smart classrooms, and comprehensive welfare to deserving students—will be aggressively replicated across Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and remote parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The expansion of the Daanish School network into Islamabad aims to bridge the severe socio-economic academic divide by integrating smart technology, English-medium curricula, and holistic character-building programs. Education analysts believe that providing underprivileged youth with world-class learning facilities will help reduce the high count of out-of-school children and create equitable career pathways for talented students across marginalized districts.

Following the inauguration, the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training announced that construction on additional sites in outlying areas will be fast-tracked in the coming months. Government officials reaffirmed their commitment to allocating additional budgetary resources towards educational technology, teacher training programs, and fully funded scholarship schemes throughout the upcoming fiscal calendar.
