Power Outages Scheduled in Islamabad and Surrounding Cities on November 2
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced that electricity supply will be suspended in Islamabad and several other cities on November 2 due to its annual power distribution system maintenance program.
IESCO officials stated that the maintenance is essential for the ongoing development projects in the region, which include the construction of new flyovers, underpasses, and 11KV feeders, as well as road expansions. These upgrades aim to enhance the overall power distribution network and improve service reliability for residents.
The scheduled outages may cause inconvenience to citizens, particularly those who rely heavily on electricity for daily activities. The maintenance work is expected to facilitate better infrastructure and ultimately lead to a more stable power supply in the future, which is crucial for both residential and commercial sectors.
Residents are advised to prepare for the outages and plan accordingly. IESCO has committed to keeping the public informed about any changes to the schedule and the progress of the maintenance work.
