PTI Chairman Confirms Sohail Afridi Will Continue as KP Chief Minister

ISLAMABAD: Barrister Gohar, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has announced that Sohail Afridi will continue to serve as the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This statement was made during a video message directed at PTI members of the provincial assembly on September 30, 2026.

In his address, Barrister Gohar urged assembly members to keep their CVs handy, emphasizing the importance of their roles in the ongoing political landscape. He reassured party members of Afridi’s leadership, stating, “Sohail Afridi will carry on his duties as Chief Minister, ensuring stability and progress in our province.” This declaration comes amid ongoing political challenges faced by the PTI.
