Punjab Government Announces New School Timings for 2026-2027 Academic Year

LAHORE: The Punjab government has officially announced new school timings for public schools, effective from October 16, 2026, to March 31, 2027. According to ARY News, single-shift schools will operate from Monday to Thursday, opening at 8:45 AM and closing at 1:30 PM.

This decision aims to streamline the academic schedule and enhance the learning environment for students across the province. An official spokesperson emphasized that the new timings are designed to accommodate both students and teachers, ensuring a balanced approach to education during the winter months.
