OVIEDO: World Cup champions Spain secured a hard-fought 3-1 victory against the Czech Republic in the Nations League on Saturday, while England delivered a stunning performance, overwhelming Croatia with a 7-0 win.

Spain’s unbeaten streak extended to 41 matches, highlighted by an exquisite goal from Lamine Yamal, followed by contributions from Rodri and Mikel Merino. Merino, who came off the bench, scored at a crucial moment when the Czechs had narrowed the gap with a goal from Jiri Slama.
