SSGC Launches Advanced Gas Leak Detection System for Public Safety

KARACHI: The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has introduced Pakistan’s first ‘Advanced Mobile Gas Leak Detection System’ to enhance public safety. This innovative system aims to promptly identify gas leaks, ensuring the safety of residents and infrastructure.

In a statement released on October 9, 2026, SSGC emphasized that the new technology is a significant step forward in gas leak management. The system utilizes advanced sensors and mobile technology to detect gas leaks quickly and accurately, allowing for immediate response and mitigation efforts.
