Pakistan Ready to Share Disaster Management Expertise with Tajikistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced the country’s readiness to share its experiences in disaster management with Tajikistan. This initiative aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in addressing natural calamities.

During a recent meeting, Dar emphasized the importance of collaboration in disaster response, highlighting Pakistan’s extensive experience in managing the impacts of natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes. He stated, “Sharing our knowledge and strategies can significantly benefit Tajikistan as it faces similar challenges.”

This cooperation is crucial as both nations confront the increasing frequency and severity of natural disasters, exacerbated by climate change. Strengthening ties in this area not only aids Tajikistan but also positions Pakistan as a leader in regional disaster management efforts.

Looking ahead, both countries are expected to engage in further discussions to formalize this collaboration, with potential workshops and training sessions planned for the near future.
