Upwork Introduces Instant Withdrawals to JazzCash and Easypaisa for Freelancers

ISLAMABAD: Upwork has launched a new feature allowing Pakistani freelancers to withdraw their earnings directly to local mobile wallets, including JazzCash and Easypaisa. This service, which began rolling out on November 6, aims to streamline the payment process for users in Pakistan.

The announcement was made via a Facebook post, highlighting that freelancers can now receive their payments in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) almost instantly. The new option is expected to enhance the financial flexibility of freelancers who rely on Upwork for their income, providing them with quicker access to their funds.

This development is significant for the growing freelance community in Pakistan, which has seen a surge in participation in the gig economy.
