ISLAMABAD: The Pi Space Science Education Centre (PSSEC) is set to expand access to robotics education across Pakistan through a new initiative in collaboration with the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Association. This program aims to engage students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, fostering innovation and creativity among the youth.

Officials from PSSEC announced the initiative during a press conference, highlighting the importance of robotics in modern education. “By partnering with the WRO Association, we are providing students with the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in a technology-driven world,” said a PSSEC representative. The program will include workshops, competitions, and resources aimed at enhancing students’ skills in robotics.

This initiative is expected to have significant implications for the educational landscape in Pakistan, where access to advanced technology and training has been limited. By promoting robotics, PSSEC aims to inspire a new generation of engineers and innovators, ultimately contributing to the country’s technological advancement and economic growth.

Looking ahead, PSSEC plans to roll out the first series of workshops by early next year, with additional competitions scheduled throughout the academic year. The organization is also exploring partnerships with local schools and universities to broaden the reach of this initiative.
